OMG this show is my absolute favorite. It aired in the summer 08 and i cant wait for season 2 to start! Everyone should watch it! heres a little bit about it taken from the HBO website:

June 09 starts...i promise you'll get hooked. i know its about vampires and that sounds a little stupid but thats what i thought when i watched it....then i got hooked!
